February 24, Tali Beach

So many things have happened since San Pablo.

  1. We went golfing (the name of my caddie was Rosalyn). My dad said I played really well.

  2. Back at the apartment we went swimming, the pool was really warm.

  3. On the 22nd I went for a sleepover at my cousins house. Mica (14), Sevi (8) and Geo(6). We didn’t get to swim, but we played Star Doll on the computer and I watched Mica do her Rubik’s cube.

  4. It was really cool when I went to the driving range. There’s a machine that puts the ball on the tee for you. A person gave us lessons and told me how to hold the club properly.

  5. We went to Corregidor. We had to take a boat to get there. Corregidor is built on an extinct volcano. Some Japanese people killed themselves inside a tunnel there. Our tour guide, Armand, knew everything about Corregidor. I saw a monkey on top of bombed repair shop. I also saw lots of bats and hermit crabs. I saw lots of guns, even a gun that hides after it shoots. Did you know that Corregidor is the second most bombed island in the world? We saw a light and sound show, it was very interesting.

Now we are in Tali Beach, we just arrived yesterday. On our way here, we tried langka, a Filipino fruit which we didn’t really like. And then we tried lansones and kept on eating it all the way to Tali because it was very yummy. When we arrived at Tali at my Tita Techie’s house we looked at our new beach lot and we’ve been going for a lot of swims in the pool. We went on an adventure trek this morning and explored our beach lot. Euan got bitten on the neck by a red ant.

I woke up and we started to pack for San Pablo. So we set off. Any way we are here. Now I’m eating mini stik-o’s (which are a type of wafer sticks).

My cousins Sam (in the picture), Sari, Mattia, Tomas, Emilia and Clara are also here.

Friday, February 15

We arrived at the Philippines and we were a bit dozy!
So my dad took us to Pancake House. After that we had our pictures taken. Then we went back home.
